Untangle the Chaos of Everyday Life

When you get a later in life diagnosis of ADHD, ASD, or a mood disorder, you often feel relief, realize there’s nothing “wrong” with you, and finally start asking yourself, “What’s next?”

That “what’s next” is supporting your executive function skill development. As your executive function coach, I’m here to help you learn or improve these skills at your own pace, using an approach that’s unique for you.

What is Executive Functioning?

At its core, executive functions are a set of skills that are designed to help us manage the tasks of daily living. The stronger these skills work, the better we can get through our daily tasks and achieve our life’s goals. As adults, having executive function challenges can look like:

  • Never having enough time to do what you need to do

  • Workspaces and home being cluttered and disorganized

  • Forgetting to do things you promised

  • Chronically running late

  • Losing your cool when people don’t do what you think they should

  • “Waste” away your time when you know there’s work to be done

Benefits of Executive Function Coaching

Having a coach support your executive function skill development helps you in very direct ways with:

  • Stronger time management

  • Improved ability to focus

  • Increased motivation

  • Greater ability to break large projects into smaller and more manageable pieces

  • Improved planning strategies

  • Feeling organized

  • Feeling more confident with transitions

These small changes will have a big impact on other parts of you life like:

✔️ Having less anxiety and stress

✔️ Improving your self-awareness

✔️ Increasing your self-esteem

✔️ Having more positive relationships with your family, work colleagues, and friends
