About Erin, Founder and Executive Function Coach
Hi, I’m Erin.
I’m the founder and executive function coach at Thriving Minds at Work.
After spending 20 years working as a senior leader in technology companies, I reached a point where I knew I needed a change. I wanted to engage with work that was more meaningful, impactful, and ultimately a better fit for me.
This journey of self-discovery led me to become a certified Executive Function Coach and commit my career to helping working women untangle the chaos of everyday life. Whether you have a later in life diagnosis of neurodiversity or a mood disorder, I believe you can overcome procrastination, disorganization, and overwhelm by learning self-understanding, organization, time management and persistence.
I have a deep understanding of life as a busy—sometimes overwhelmed—working woman. As a working mom of two teenagers with mood and executive functioning challenges, I have deep empathy for the struggles that women face every day.
Strong executive function skills (and lots of great therapy!) have enabled me to weather the many storms that life brings my way. I want to share that knowledge with other women to help them feel more successful.
I am a proud introvert and really enjoy one-to-one connections. I don’t shy away from talking about the “messy stuff” of life, understanding that we’re all unique and come into each moment as a full person with lots under the surface. I’m a recovering perfectionist, striving every day to maintain a curious, outcomes-focused mindset.
I live in East Toronto with my husband, two teenage kids, and our cat, Bear. I spend my “free” time cooking, baking, walking, reading, cross-stitching, crisscrossing the province for my daughter’s softball games, and enjoying a great show on Netflix. My current favourite? Derry Girls!
